Accommodation - your home in Italy

Welcome - your home in Italy is waiting for you. Where you sleep makes a real difference to your year, so we have built two warm models of accommodation depending on the city. In Milan and Turin we offer an independent city-housing approach - Italian family homestay, shared student flats, studios, hotels - so you live in the city and breathe its rhythm. In Florence and Mantua, where our campuses include a dedicated student residence, we offer a campus-residence model with optional meal plan, so your daily logistics are as simple as walking from your room to your classroom. Scegli la città, poi scegli la casa.

Reservation fee - all cities, all options

A one-off €40 reservation fee applies to every booking made through the school, regardless of city or accommodation type. It covers vetting, contract review, and orientation handover. It is not an agency commission and is not refunded if you cancel after we have confirmed the booking.

Milan & Turin - independent city-housing model

In Milan and Turin you live in the city, not on a campus. Five options, picked based on autonomy, budget, and how immersed in Italian you want to be at home. All options are vetted by us, all are in well-connected residential neighbourhoods within roughly 30 minutes by metro, tram, or bus from the campus.

Family homestay

A private room with an Italian family that hosts students. The fastest single way to push your Italian forward, especially A2 → B2 - you live with native speakers and use Italian at the dinner table.

Indicative prices

  • Room only: €215 / week
  • Room + breakfast: €240 / week
  • Room + half board (breakfast & dinner): €335 / week

Bed linen and towels included; weekly cleaning of common areas and weekly change of sheets and towels.

Shared student flat

A private bedroom in an apartment shared with other students (Italian and/or international). Pans, kitchen utensils, TV, plates, and sheets provided. More autonomy than a homestay, more social interaction with peers.

Indicative price

Room in a shared flat: €215 / week - utilities typically included up to a fair-use cap; beyond the cap is paid by the tenants.

Studio or one-bedroom apartment

Your own studio or small one-bedroom flat. Fully furnished with kitchen utensils, blankets and sheets; internet on request (sometimes a small additional fee). The right choice for older students, students with a partner, or long stays of 6+ months.

Indicative price

Studio apartment: from €1.250 / month - varies materially by city and length of stay.

Hotels and B&Bs (3 to 5 star)

Pre-vetted partner hotels and B&Bs near each campus, with student rates for stays of one to several weeks. Useful for short faculty-led groups, language-test candidates, and the first week before a longer rental begins.

Prices vary materially by city, season, and star rating. Quoted at booking.

Long-stay studios for couples / partners

Larger one-bedroom or two-bedroom flats for students arriving with a partner or family. Selected from the same trusted network as the standard studios, sized for two-plus occupants.

Price on request - quoted based on city, size, and length of stay.

Florence & Mantua - on-campus residence model

In Florence and Mantua students are housed on the shared campus - the Padri Scolopi complex in Florence and the former Archbishop's Seminary in Mantua - both of which include a dedicated student residence with fully equipped common areas. This is the simplest possible logistics: no rental contract to negotiate, no commute, no housing search after arrival. You can choose the residence with the meal plan (one main meal per day at the on-campus cafeteria) or without the meal plan, if you prefer to cook in the residence kitchens or eat out.

Room configurations available

Single rooms · single rooms with ensuite bathroom · double rooms (separate beds or bunk beds) · triple and quadruple rooms · apartment-style accommodations designed for one or two occupants. Final allocation depends on availability at the time of confirmation; we honour preferences on a first-come, first-served basis.

Standard amenities - every option

Fully equipped kitchens · full bathrooms (sinks and showers) · separate toilet facilities · laundry area with washing machines and dryers · shared living rooms · Wi-Fi · air conditioning where applicable. All housing is fully furnished and suitable for medium- to long-term academic stays.

With meal plan

One daily meal included, typically main course · drink · coffee, served at the on-campus cafeteria. In exceptional or seasonal circumstances (campus closures, holidays) approved alternative arrangements are organised. Details are confirmed before arrival.

Recommended for shorter stays (one semester or under) and for students who want a simple daily routine without cooking.

Without meal plan

Same residence, same room, same amenities - but no daily meal included. You cook in the residence's fully equipped kitchen, eat at the on-campus cafeteria on a pay-as-you-go basis, or eat out. Right for students on a tight budget, longer stays (academic year and beyond), or students with specific dietary needs.

Price difference vs the meal-plan option confirmed at booking based on length of stay.

Housekeeping included

Daily cleaning of common areas. Weekly change of sheets and towels. The on-campus residence operates with the same housekeeping standards across both meal-plan and no-meal-plan options.

Placement and arrival

Final room assignment, address, and check-in instructions are communicated before the start of the academic term. Arrival timing and key-handover are coordinated by the campus operations team - there is a designated check-in window before the first day of class.

On-campus residence, meal plan and housekeeping in Florence and Mantua are operated within the campus infrastructure of our school.

How booking works

  1. Tell us your city, your dates, your budget, and (if Milan / Turin) which option fits. Use the message template on the contact page or send a free-form email. Mention specific needs (dietary, allergies, accessibility, partner coming, child coming).
  2. We propose options within your range. For Milan / Turin: typically two or three concrete options with addresses, photos where available, and a clear price per week or per month. For Florence / Mantua: confirmation of residence availability for your dates, with meal-plan and no-meal-plan price quoted side by side.
  3. You confirm. Pay the €40 reservation fee plus the first instalment of rent / residence cost. We send you the booking confirmation with the host's or campus residence's contact details and arrival instructions.
  4. You arrive. Milan / Turin: pick up keys directly from the host or our help desk. Florence / Mantua: check in at the campus residence during the designated arrival window. Orientation week covers everything else (codice fiscale, residence permit, SIM, bank account, route to the campus).
  5. You can stay for the entire length of your course - most options support continuous bookings from a few weeks up to a full academic year and beyond.
