How to enrol - your step-by-step path to studying with us.
Ciao! Enrolling at Accademia di Italiano is a friendly, eight-step process. You can start the conversation by writing to us (we will reply within one working day) or, if you already know exactly what you want and your dates, jump straight to the Flywire payment portal at the end of this page. We are here for both paths.
The eight steps
1 · Choose your format
Standard (20 lessons/week) · Light (10 in-class + structured self-study) · Long-term (3-12 months, visa eligible) · Part-time (2 or 3 lessons/week, all four cities, for residents) · Private (one-to-one tailored).
2 · Choose your city
Milan · Florence · Mantua · Turin. Each city has a different feel, a different campus and a slightly different student profile.
3 · Choose your dates
Absolute beginners (A1.1) start on fixed cohort dates throughout the year. A2 → C2 students normally enrol on any Monday after a quick placement test.
4 · Tell us about you
Write to us with your name, country, dates, target level, and your goal (CILS exam, university enrolment, visa renewal, professional fluency). For A2 → C2 students we send a short placement test.
5 · We confirm your plan
Within one working day we reply with a concrete plan: course format, city, level group, dates, total cost, and (for long-term students) the visa-documentation pack outline.
6 · Pay your deposit via Flywire
Once your plan is confirmed, you complete the deposit (or full payment) securely via Flywire, the international student-payment platform that supports your local currency. We issue the enrolment certificate the same week.
7 · Pre-arrival pack
For long-term students: visa documentation (consulate-grade enrolment certificate, syllabus, weekly hours, accommodation declaration if relevant), pre-departure orientation, suggested SIM & housing options.
8 · Welcome to Italy!
On arrival: campus orientation, codice fiscale and (if needed) Permesso di Soggiorno support, welcome kit, your first day in class. Benvenuto a casa.
